Team Takeover finished last season #19 in the 2025 class, they are off to a hot start this fall in preparation for the 2019 season. Team Takeover is now called Team Takeover EG 2025 for Erik Green sponsored team and is coach by Keith Stevens Jr, son of legendary coach and Team Takeover founder, Keith Stevens.
This young season they are 13-1 with a championshp at the A Game Invitational. In those 13 wins they have some marquee ones on their resume over the likes of Black Ops, Theam Thrill and defending grade based national champion NY Gauchos. In addition to the A Game title, they won the Team Thrill Turkey Day tournament avenging their only loss to Team Thrill in bracket play after losing to them in super pool play.
Upcoming events for Takeover is the Made Hoops Events as well as Nike Events at the Boo Williams. Takeover EG 2025 is led by many stars including the #2 current ranked player in the nation for the 2026 class, Jasiah Cannady.
In addition to Cannady, Takeover features many of the top players nationally and regionally for the 2025 class. Anthony Brown Jr. is currently the top ranked player for Teakeover in the 2025 class. Angelo Dickerson is one of the most underrated players natioally in the 2025 class and had played elite this fall.
Tyrek Boney, Cole Bowser and Cortez Harris are doing all the dirty work and patrolling the paint. New addition to Takeover this year is guard, Devin Toatley. Toatley is elite on both sids of the ball with his ability to score and defend. Quincy Wadley and Geremy Clark add depth as well as top national talent in 2026 Jordan Smith and the #1 2027 nationally, Bah Bah Oladontun have joined the family. Jordan Ross comes over the the Dreamchasers (VA) and Zae Zambaway give them more fire power.
This Takeover team is loaded up and going to make a case for being top five in the nation all throughout the 2019 season. Takeover is putting a lot of emphasis with this group and look for them this year and the future years.
