Darius Acuff could be #1 in the 2025 Class

The 2025 player rankings are just days away from release and nobody in the nation has did more for their resume than Darius Acuff of Detroit, Michigan. Acuff and his Reach Dream Team finished 2nd in the nation in our final poll, in some polls they finished #1 in the nation. 

Acuff led the Reach Dream Team to more than a national championship this past season, they finished the season with a 63-2 record against many of the nations top teams. In addition to the AAU National Championship, Reach Dream Team also won the MLK Gym Rats Tournament, Spartan Showcase, Oakland Elite Invitational, Dru Joyce Shooting Stars Classic, and the Super 64 in addition to numerous smaller tournaments. 

Acuff a true point guard can score with the best of them or keep his teammates involved. Acuff averaged 19 points and 9 assists this season for Reach Dream Team including 21 and 7 at the AAU Nationals. "Lil Cheeks" is what they call him and Cheeks attends Burton International Academy in Detroit. He has played 8th grade for them since 4th grade. Playing 8th grade two weeks ago, Cheeks dropped 41 points.
