Let it Fly Elite still the Top Dog in 2028

Bursting onto the scene with an undefeated campaign in 2017, St. Louis, Missouri based Let it Fly Elite was considered by all as the best 1st grade team in the nation that season. Our first look at members of the Let it Fly Elite team was at the KC Coast 2 Coast Preps Showcase last September. 

The 2018 season, Let it Fly Elite went 71-1 with their only loss coming to Oklahoma Chaos Elite. The #1 in the 2028 class, they have great team work but also have a few standouts to go with it. Lets look at some of the top players on the Let it Fly Elite team and be on the lookout for them in our new 2028 player rankings upcoming. 

Elijah Poniewaz

Elijah Poniewaz, the Florissant, Missouri native is currently ranked #3 nationally in the 2028 class. Poniewaz led the team in scoring this season with 12 points per game while handing out 2 assists and grabbing 3 rebounds per game. Poniewaz a student of the game, constantly studies film of NBA Stars including his favorite player Lebron James and it shows in his game as he has a high IQ. Chase Williams

Chase Williams is currently ranked the #11 player nationally in the 2028 class. Williams has been balling with Let it Fly Elite since he was four years old, a true gym rat and a standout student in the classroom. Williams does it all for Let it Fly, he averaged 6 points per game, 6 assists per game and 5 rebounds per game. Follow him on IG @Chase_mr.eurostep_williams

Jesiah Buchanan is the third Let it Fly player currently ranked inside the top 20, Buchanan is currently 16th in the most recent rankings. Buchanan is gifted and talented in both basketball and academics. A standout in the classroom translates to basketball in his leadership ability always pushing his teammates. Buchanan was the 2nd leading scorer for Let it Fly Elite scoring 11 points a game to go with 8 rebounds a game. You can follow Buchanan on social media Instagram @j.buchanan_letitflybasketball

Dallas Owens

Dallas Owens was outside the 2028 player rankings when we released our last ones but his play during the 2018 travel season has escalated his name onto the national radar. Owens proved that his hardwork in the gym is paying off with his ability to shoot the ball. Owens has one of the best clips in the class to this point and possibly more range than anyone in the class.
