Houston Hoops Blue Chips claim the Peach Invitational

The best 7th grade tournament going on in Augusta, GA this weekend was the Peach Invitational Tournament. The event was loaded with premier teams across the nation. Seven of the nations top 25 teams for the 2023 class took part in the tournament including the top 3 teams, #1 Team Takeover Oladipo, #2 Houston Hoops Blue Chips, #3 CP3. 

With many of the nations best in attendance, one reigned supreme and that was the Houston Hoops Blue Chips. The Chips claimed the crown with a semi-final win over Wisconsin Phenom and a championship over #13 ranked Team United. The number 11 ranked Arkansas Rising Stars fell to Team United in the semi-final. 

Houston Hoops Blue Chips features a loaded roster with many of the nations top players for the 2023 class including, JaKobe Walter, Christopher Lockett, Tyler Ringgold and Zion Little. Even though star studden, this Peach Invitational Tournament championship was a complete team effort on both the defense and offensive ends of the court. 

You can catch the Chips in Vegas July 25-29 looking to hoist another first place trophy.
