Greater Chicago area 2025 guard, Jeremiah Fears was a name in our ear for years, we finally got to see him in person last June at the Midwest Spotlight camp in Lexington and all the hype was real. Fears was named the camp MVP for his outstanding performance from the point guard position.
Fears is currently ranked as the 14th best player nationally in the 2025 class in our most up to date player rankings. Fears has everything you want from the PG position. Great change of speed and direction ,great ball handler, makes the defense extend to 25 + feet with his range and can get in the lane and create for him teammates at will.
This school season, Fears ran the show for Joliet Hufford Junior High School and led them to a 22-6 record. Fears put on a scoring show the whole season averaging 38 points per game throughout the season and was consistently over 35 every night.
This season upcoming on the travel circuit (if we have one) Fears is going to play with Bradley Beal Elite out of St. Louis. It is yet to be deterimined what grade Fears will play, if he will play 2025 or 2024.

Fears comes from a basketball family, his father played for Bradley in the earliest part of this century. Fears has an older brother in the class of 2023 who is also a star, Jeremy Fears Jr.
As a freshman this season, Jeremy Fears was tabbed as one of the top freshman in Illinois helping lead his high school team to a 29-4 record while averaging 10 points and 5 assists per game. His team, Joliet West finished 29-4 before the season came to an end. He has offers from Ohio University, Illinois Chicago, Detroit University and Chicago State to date.
