The state of Oklahoma has become a power on the national scene in  youth basketball. Teams such as Team Griffin, Tulsa Most Talented, Oklahoma Chaos, OKC Franchize, PWP and many more have shown they have the capability to compete with anyone in the country. Another name to keep an eye on from Oklahoma is Thunder Elite in the 2024 division.

The Thunder Elite program has two teams in the 2024 class based out of Okmulgee, Oklahoma which is about thirty minutes from Tulsa. Thunder Elite has been playing as good of ball as anyone in the midwest since the new travel season started at Thanksgiving. They won the Great Eight Tournament as well as the Get Em Ready Ball Out Touranment playing up in the 16u division. The Winner Take All 1K tournament they also captured the championship. The biggest national tournament they have played in this year is the I have a Dream Tournament in Tulsa where they finished runner up losing to #2 nationally ranked Team Griffin.

Guard play wins on the travel circuit and Thunder Elite features some of the best guards in the state of Oklahoma. Jervais Goree, Noah Jones, Giorgio Dunn and Kobe Tarkington all have high level potential as they get ready to enter high school in the fall. Jaxsun Fulton, Jeremiah Harley and Konner Collins, can't go without mentioning them as they more than hold their own in helping Thunder Elite win.

We will see Thunder Elite at the National MS Elite Showdown in OKC in June, we can't wait to see them in person.
