Chase Sears, 2029 guard of the current #1 ranked team in the nation, the All Indy Gym Rats is known as Mr. Big Shot. We were able to see why he got that nickname first hand at the MLK Weekend Season Tip Off when Sears knocked down a three pointer to send his team to the championship game with a win over Team Rise at the buzzer.

Sears became on our radar initially last summer at the Midwest Spotlight camp in Cincinnati where he was named MVP of the 2029 division. Since then Sears has been playing well everywhere he and his team have went which have included tournament wins at the BullsEye New Years Eve Event, Coach T Classic, Dru Joyce Classic and most recently the George Hill Invitational.

Sears has spent a lot of time in the gym and became one of the best shooters in this class. This weekend at the Memorial Day Ballin in the Bluegrass, Sears filled in and spot played with the Ohio Kings since his All Indy Gym Rats team was unable to make the event. Sears helped lead the Kings to the championship, in the finals, Mr. Big Shot was at it again. Sears dropped in six triples in the championship game and led the Kings to a double digit win over the Decatur Blazers.

Sears will be at the Midwest Spotlight Camp this coming weekend at the Kentucky Basketball Commission in Lexington. Registration is open until the end of the day, if you aren't registered yet get registered ASAP here: Midwest Spotlight Registration
