The first family of basketball in Memphis is the Lawson family. With the older brothers Dedric and K.J. at Kansas now and Chanlder entering his junior season of high school, the youngest brother Johnathan is now set to enter high school.

Johnathan has been able to witness the development of this brothers and is considered by many to be the best of them all on potential. Standing 6'7 and playing the point guard position Johnson has a high level skill set playing at his pace. The ability to separate with his dribble and get in the lane finishing over defenders or stopping short with the floater.

The month of July was epic for Lawson. At the MADE Hoops Finale at the Peach Jam, Lawson led his Memphis Wildcats to a final four finish. He spent two weeks in Vegas winning two championships. Lawson led the Memphis Wildcats to the Las Vegas Live tourney then followed that up with a championship in the Las Vegas Classic playing with We All Can Go.
